Animal Collectiveが新作『Painting With』を2016年2月19日にDominoよりリリースすることをアナウンスした。
前作の『Centipede Hz』より4年ぶりのリリースとなる今作は、再びPanda Bear、Avey Tare、Geologistの三人体制となり制作され、Gang Gang DanceのBrian DeGrawによる、3つの異なるアートワークが用意されている。また11月30日時点でファースト・シングル『FloriDada』がストリーミングで公開されている。
